Local coverage from The Hinckley Times helped introduce Hinckley Roundnet Club to people across the town and share the idea behind bringing roundnet to the area.
We are building a beginner-friendly roundnet community for Hinckley, Leicestershire, and anyone nearby who wants to play.
Hinckley Roundnet began when Founder, Matt Davison, started playing competitive roundnet and realised there were no clubs across the entirety of Leicestershire.
The aim has always been, from day one, to build a friendly, accessible club where beginners can try the sport without pressure, casual players can get regular games, and those that want to play competitively can upskill, all allowing the local roundnet community to grow from the ground up.

Hinckley Roundnet is a British Roundnet affiliated club, which connects the club to the national body helping the sport grow across the UK.
It means the club competes at British Roundnet tournaments and has links to the wider roundnet community across the country, helping local players find a clear route into competitive roundnet when they are ready.
Local media coverage has helped share the story of Hinckley Roundnet Club and bring the sport to more people across the town and wider county.

The Leicester Mercury feature helped put the club in front of a wider Leicestershire audience and gave more people a reason to discover the sport.
You do not need experience, kit, or a team to get started. The aim is to make first sessions feel simple, welcoming, and easy to join.
The club is being built for casual players, competitive players, and anyone curious enough to give roundnet a go.
Hinckley Roundnet Club is rooted in local parks, local events, and the people who want more ways to be active nearby.
